We purchased a 2019 Chevy Tahoe for our department and recently had an issue with the lights not working on the push bumper. A call was made to the service department describing the issue. Within 24 hours as instructed by Kelsey, a service member technician called me and knew exactly how our vehicle was configured and walked me through areas that may be the cause from the rear of the vehicle to push bumper. The problem was identified within 10-15 minutes and my emergency lights now work. Last year, I ordered my awesome Tahoe from George. That was the best car-buying experience I have EVER had. From the first time that I spoke with him on the phone until I picked up my Tahoe…working with George was entirely easy. I was also thankful in how well he was able to work with my budgetary needs without making me feel pressured in any way. Last week, on my way to a funeral, I called George and inquired about adding some equipment to my Tahoe. Again… George offered that same great customer service and really worked hard to arrange an appointment that would allow the equipment to be added on my way back home from the funeral. He certainly made me feel like I was a VIP and I appreciated very much all his efforts. I definitely consider George a friend and I will certainly promote your company by referring them to George. On Monday, the day of the appointment, as I was waiting while my vehicle was being worked on, I went to check out the Defender Outdoor store and met Dennis. Again, your sales staff offer tremendous knowledge and customer service. While I didn’t necessarily come into the store to purchase a gun, Dennis was very good about showing and explaining everything. I ended up making several purchases from the store and I am very glad I did. He made me feel like I knew him forever and I believe he is a huge asset to your company. While my vehicle was being worked on, I interacted with John and Scott quite a bit. Again, the “family-like” atmosphere of the company was exemplified by these guys as well. I was also very impressed with Scott. While he was working on my vehicle, I was asking several questions related to my vehicle and to the industry in general. He was very patient and kind and answered all my questions. I am VERY pleased with his work! I am also thankful for his service to our country by serving in the United States Navy. Installation seems top notch, product quality is great, and the process was painless. I’m extremely impressed with the whole package. I’m curious to see what the PD thinks once we present it to them in a week or two. Going forward I’d only change a few things to make it closer to what our officers are accustomed to. Having built cars myself years ago, I saw employees that were respectful and looked professional. I really appreciated the attention to detail, and a job done right the first time. I wanted to let you know that I recently purchased a Ford Police Interceptor Sedan from Defender. After having received emails from George Severe for years, I knew that Defender Supply was going to be a competitive place to look for my new vehicle. Well, I met George over the phone and was instantly impressed with his knowledge and willingness to meet the needs that I had. I am a one man agency and I don’t purchase vehicles very often, so I know I’m not some huge account for George. But George treated me like I was every bit as important as the guy that was ordering a hundred cars and would be for the next few years. He always made himself available and showed me a level of service that I am not used to seeing in this day and age. George wound up suggesting that I take a look at the Ford Interceptor that Defender had used as a demo car they took to shows. That didn’t sound too appealing over the phone, but once I got down there and George was able to show me the vehicle, again I was thoroughly impressed. The car was absolutely perfect for my situation and it was something that I would have never considered if it had not been for George making the suggestion. George also hung in there with me while I had to cut through all the red tape with my city to actually to get the P.O. for the purchase the car. Just trying to get other dealerships to get me quote on a vehicle was painstaking and in a few cases, impossible. I have no doubt that I have received, through George, a level of service that no other dealerships can match. That is impressive. Many other Marshal’s Offices across Texas are one man agencies. We have a pretty tight knit group through the Texas Marshal’s Association and we rely on each other for advice and suggestions. Many surrounding agencies have already heard my story about the great experience I had with Defender, but our annual conference is next month. I will be giving Defender Supply, and in particular George Severe, a glowing recommendations to my peers from across the State. I’ve been an administrator for the last eight years and have had to deal with ordering new patrol vehicles while working with other agencies. Main complaint was the time frame we were given for delivery, only for that date to be continuously pushed back. One order I was told six weeks, which turned into six months, and the delivered cars did not have the equipment we asked for. My thought was, just tell the truth, easier to swallow and I can respect the honesty. Your company representative George Severe was up front and honest and we received the vehicles within the time frame given. George also maintained contact and kept us updated, and would call asking where we preferred certain equipment mounted. I did not get this kind of service from other install companies. Also helps that George is a Peace Officer, kind of knows how things should be positioned. When we picked up the vehicles, they were everything we expected, and the hospitality would make any fellow Texan proud. So once again a sincerest THANK YOU!

In most cases people are more inclined to write about their bad experiences with a company rather than the good ones. Milano PD was just starting up and we were only ordering one car. Yet in all cases when dealing with your company I didn’t feel like a small police department but rather one that was buying a complete fleet of vehicles. In particular I would like to thank the efforts of George Severe; he was fast, efficient and respectful with every contact. He made an effort to keep me informed at every step. I am comfortable knowing that a vehicle that must be relied on by myself, my officers and the community was built by your company. Working with your company has differed greatly to some of the other companies we have had dealings with. It was nice to speak with Mr. Severe as he never made it seem as if we were anything less than top priority. It was because of Mr. Severe’s efforts, and the outcome of the vehicle, that I have since spoke to other agencies in my area about your company. Soon after receiving the Tahoe I spoke with Chief Harris from Rockdale, Texas who is also interested in purchasing a Tahoe. If he has since contacted your company I am unsure, however I would ask you to put Mr. Severe on their case as I am sure he will keep them coming back for all of their vehicle needs. Let me tell you that this has been probably the best experience I have ever had involving the purchase of a vehicle. I have been involved in many vehicle purchases and have had none go as smooth as this one. You have delivered the vehicle I expected and the add-on equipment and installation was better than I expected. Your staff and George Severe in particular went out of their way to assure that I felt not only welcome but appreciated. The paperwork for the new vehicle and trade in took minutes which is very unusual. I received great driving directions to your new facility and was greeted with a smile by one of the most accommodating people I have ever met. The longest part of the entire experience was with your installer. In all my vehicle deals I have never met with the person that installed the equipment just to be sure that I was pleased and got what I was expecting. I realize that the City of Ingram is a very low volume small customer, but I felt like that you and your staff gave me the same service and attention as a large volume customer. To whom it concern, I recently purchased a 2012 Dodge Charger PPV. After many years in the public safety business and having unfitted many vehicles and apparatus over the years. However I have been away from it for some time now. As vehicles and equipment get smarter I find myself at a loss on my Charger.
